The roller conveyor has simple structure, high reliability and convenient operation and maintenance. It is suitable for conveying all kinds of boxes, bags, pallets and other goods. Bulk materials, small items or irregular items need to be transported on pallets or in totes. The roller conveyor can transport a single piece of material with a large weight, or accept a large impact load.
The structure of the roller conveyor is divided into: unpowered roller conveyor and powered roller conveyor according to the drive.
Before customizing the roller conveyor, we first need to determine the following roller conveyor parameters:
(1) The length, width and height of the conveyed object;
(2) The weight of each conveying unit;
(3) The bottom condition of the conveyed object;
(4) Whether there are special working environment requirements;
(5) The conveying is classified as unpowered or motor-driven.
Note when installing:
(1) Preparation of roller conveyor bearings
Since the roller bearings are rust-proof and packaged, do not unpack them until just before installation.
In addition, the anti-rust oil coated on the roller bearing has good lubricating performance. For general-purpose bearings or bearings filled with grease, they can be used directly without cleaning. The bearings are easy to rust and cannot be placed for a long time.
(2) Inspection of roller conveyor shaft and shell
Clean the shaft and housing to make sure there are no scratches or burrs from machining. There must be absolutely no grinding, molding sand, chips, etc. in the housing. Next, check whether the size, shape and processing quality of the shaft and shaft shell conform to the drawings.
